The Employee Energizer Desktop Reminder

Starting to get that numb or tingly feeling in your arm or wrist when you sit at the computer for any length of time? Employee Energizer will remind you to take a break, and give you a quick exercise to do.

If you are using the Windows opeerating system, download a copy now.* You can set the timer to the interval of your choice, but we suggest leaving it at the default 25 minutes. There is also a function to update the database of exercises, and to visit EmployeeEnergizer.com. See the help file for more information.

Choose one of the following links to start your download:

If you are unsure which version of the operating system you are using, click the Start button, choose Settings then Control Panel and System. The window that opens will list your system specifications. The first line will tell you which version of Windows is installed.

De-Stress for Success Desktop Exerciser/Energizer

These downloadable exercises are one of the keys of good health and a harmonious workplace atmosphere.

We have chosen easy to do one minute to five-minute mini-exercise breaks/mini massage breaks to help prevent Repetitive Strain Injury, a leading result of workplace injury, often we think of RSI as only referring to carpul tunnel injuries of the wrist; however, it really refers to any part of the body which suffers from wear and tear due to repetitive movement low back pain or sciatica which may result from sitting in one position for extended periods of time would be an example.

In the coming weeks we will be adding to the exercise database. Please update your exercises regularly. Don’t allow yourself to become bored. There will be over two hundred types of exercises and massage techniques that will be added on over time.

As well, we will be offering other database subjects: positive imagine- inspirational quotes, techniques to create harmony in your office and to improve relationships with co-workers. (They may even be transferable to your family- but don’t say I say so!)

Would you like to receive email daily, weekly, or monthly? Let us know we have a variety of ways to inspire you and make a difference in your life and the life of those around you.

Our newsletter will be downloadable monthly starting with January 2005. Are there topics you would like to see or have questions about? Drop us an email and we will add them to the list of newsletter topics.
